About Us

Fishers has been going strong for over 30 years and has grown from a small country clothes store to a large destination shop. We like to move with the times, while maintaining our core values of excellent, personal customer service and a superb range of products.

Husband and wife team, Jane and Simon Harrison started the business in 1979 with Jane's brother and sister-in-law, Simon and Marion Hughes and brother Peter Hughes. Fishers has recently been taken on by Jane and Simon's daughters Becci, a business and marketing graduate with extensive retail experience and Charlie, a professional goldsmith and designer.

We are determined to maintain all that's good about local family businesses in Ireland, taking a real interest in all our customers and building relationships with suppliers, local businesses and the community. We are passionate about what we do and excited about the future.

The Fishers team also feels like a family. Many of the staff have been with Fishers for years and have built up those same relationships with the customers. This is one of the main things that sets Fishers apart.

All the girls on the staff have worked hard to learn all they can about style and fashion by training up in Image & Style Advice and they have also gained an important insight into the exclusive ranges at Fishers allowing them to give their customers the best possible individual advice. Maureen is our resident men's expert with a keen eye on how to cut a dash, while Terry has a phenomenal knack for knowing what will suit your shape perfectly. The rest of the team are also brilliant and a credit to the business.
